Initial assessment

What to include in a contract manufacturing enquiry

An initial brief helps define the activities you need: formula development, manufacturing, packaging or a complete private label project. Not every detail needs to be settled at this stage.

Send your project brief
Product, application and market
Specify the category, intended use and country of sale. Explain whether the range is intended for consumers or professional users.
Formula and packaging
Explain whether you have a formula to assess or a product requirement to develop. Include the desired size, closure type and any available artwork.
Volumes and supply schedule
Separate the initial order quantity from expected repeat orders. Share your preferred launch date as a target to assess, not an agreed deadline.
Activities assigned to Fangucci
Clarify which stages you want to include and which you will handle yourself. Minimum quantities, lead times and terms must be requested and confirmed for your specific project.

Frequently asked questions

What to know before starting a detergent range

What are the minimum order quantities for contract manufacturing?

Contact Fangucci for an assessment of the minimum quantity for your project. Include quantities by product and pack size, the number of variants and expected repeat orders. Do not assume that the same minimum applies to every formula or pack.

How long does it take to launch an own-brand range?

The schedule must be agreed after the project has been reviewed. Share your preferred launch date and explain which elements, such as formula, bottle and artwork, are already available. Development and approval of new elements need to be considered before a production date can be confirmed.

What is the difference between private label and contract manufacturing?

With private label, the product is made under the customer’s brand. Contract manufacturing describes assigning the agreed activities to Fangucci, which may include formulation, production, bottles, filling and labelling.

Can Fangucci manage both the formula and packaging?

Yes. The in-house laboratory can develop or adapt the formulation, while the project may include the container, closure, label and packaging according to the agreed requirements.

Which detergent categories can be assessed?

Fangucci works across household and professional detergents, including laundry, dishwashing, floors, surfaces and specialist applications. Feasibility is assessed for each project.

Is SDS and CLP label support available?

The project can include regulatory support, safety data sheets and CLP labelling based on the formula, intended use and target market.

How does a project assessment begin?

Start with the product type, intended use, sales channel, format and estimated volumes. These details allow an initial technical and manufacturing review.
